ThoughtBlend.com is a custom-built good idea community developed on an ASP.Net front-end with a SQL backend. Email verification is used for the signup module, and the ASP.Net membership provider is used for user accounts. All information is stored on a SQL backend with some XML data structures and querying. Image uploads and user profiles are supported. A full-featured administrative section was also built to give the site admins full control.
